and portraying a ‘toxic’ relationship with food

Fans aren’t happy with Kim and Khloe Kardashian

Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian have been accused of promoting a “toxic” relationship with food.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan are known for their passion for staying fit, but some fans think they might have pushed things a bit too far. In a clip from The Kardashians which was shared on TikTok, the two sisters were seen arguing over biscuits.

Kim paid a visit to Khloe’s house where she gushed: “Oh my God, you’re getting skinnier and skinnier.” As Kim started tucking in to some tasty treats, Khloe replied: “Don’t eat those cookies. You don’t need, like you look so good.”

Kim pushed her food toward Khloe and said: “Here, I’ll split the difference.” Khloe was shocked and said: “I don’t want it. That’s how I know you’re not a real friend. Real friends don’t give friends Vienna Wafers.”

Sharing the clip on Reddit, one fan wrote: “Their relationship with food is so toxic. Nothing new. It’s just wild and I hope it somehow doesn’t trickle down to their kids. (It absolutely will.)”

Others took to the comments to share their thoughts. “It’s wild because in photos of their parties there is always SO MUCH FOOD. And you know they’re barely eating. It’s so dystopian,” one fan said.

Another wrote: “All the money in the world isn’t worth living like this,” while a third added: “The funny thing is, one cookie is not the end of the world. At all. You aren’t gonna gain 10 pounds from a few cookies lol.”

However, not everyone was so critical. One fan said: “I beg to differ! I agree with Khloe. Those cookies are trash, to me that’s the same as a friend giving you a cigarette when you’re trying to quit.” Someone else added: “Yea I totally agree with that. I get where you’re coming from! I do hate when you’re trying to be healthy and someone dogs on it and taunts you with food.”

Khloe has been open about her weight loss journey over the years. “I openly talk about my nose job and anyone who ‘looks up’ to me must know I’ve lost over 60 pounds over the years,” she said on Instagram.

When Kim attended the 2022 Met Gala, she underwent an extreme diet so she could fit into Marilyn Monroe’s dress. She lost 16lb in just three weeks to fit in the gown.

To achieve the weight loss, Kim didn’t eat carbs or sugar for three weeks. She also admitted to wearing a sauna suit twice a day, running on a treadmill and eating the “cleanest veggies and protein.”
